Officially licensed Riddell collectible.
This is West Virginia from a completely different chapter, and it looks like nothing else in the current Mountaineers catalog. The gold throwback mini Speed reaches back to an era when the program wore a warm metallic gold shell and carried a version of the WVU mark that combined the stacked block letters with the state outline in light blue, a four-color logo treatment of navy, gold, light blue, and white that has a warmth and regionality that the modern flying WV streamlined away. The grey face mask completes a period-appropriate presentation that feels genuinely researched rather than just recolored, the hardware choice grounding the throwback aesthetic without overstating it.
