A collectible helmet is an officially licensed replica or authentic helmet produced by Riddell for display purposes. These are the same shells and colorways worn on the field, scaled or reproduced for collectors and fans who want their favorite programs represented on their shelf.

Mini Speed The most popular collector size. Mini Speed helmets are small scale replicas that capture the full look of the on field helmet in a compact form. Perfect for shelves, cases, and desk displays. Roughly 4 to 5 inches in size.
Mid-Size Larger than a mini but smaller than a full size. Mid-size helmets are a great middle ground for collectors who want more presence on the shelf without committing to a full size piece. Roughly half scale.
Replica Speed Full size helmets built to look like the on field product. Same shell shape and colorway as the authentic, designed specifically for display. A strong centerpiece for any collection.
Authentic Speed Full size helmets that closely mirror the on field product in construction and finish. A step above the Replica in detail and build quality. Built for the collector who wants the closest thing to the real deal.

No. All helmets sold by Faded Icons are strictly for display purposes only. They are not certified for use in any athletic activity and should never be worn. Collectible and replica helmets do not meet safety standards required for contact sports. They are designed and sold exclusively as collector pieces.

Orders may be cancelled or edited within 24 hours of placement as long as they have not yet shipped. To request a cancellation or change please contact us immediately at support@fadedicons.com with your order number. Custom build orders cannot be cancelled once work has begun as each piece is built specifically for you.
How can I track my order?

Once your order ships you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. Use that number on the carrier's website to follow your shipment. If you did not receive a tracking email please check your spam folder or contact us at support@fadedicons.com

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@fadedicons.com your order number and photos of the issue. We will make it right.

If items are missing from your order please contact us immediately at support@fadedicons.com with your order number. Some orders with multiple items may ship in separate packages so check your tracking information first to see if a second shipment is on the way.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unopened, unused items in original packaging. Custom builds and one of one pieces are final sale and cannot be returned. To initiate a return please contact us at support@fadedicons.com with your order number.

Email us at support@fadedicons.com with your order number and reason for return. Once approved we will provide instructions on how to send the item back. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Exchanges are handled on a case by case basis depending on availability. Contact us at support@fadedicons.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Most orders ship within 2 to 3 business days. Standard delivery typically takes 5 to 7 business days depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number once your order has shipped. Custom build orders require additional production time and may take up to three weeks before shipping. We will keep you updated throughout the process.

Yes. Orders over $100 qualify for free shipping nationwide. Orders under $100 are subject to standard shipping rates calculated at checkout.

What is a custom build?
A custom build is a one of one helmet created by Faded Icons. We start with a real Riddell shell and add custom touches including facemask clips, swapped facemasks, colored visors, colored chin straps and more. No two builds are exactly alike.
How do I order a custom build?

Custom builds are available through our Custom Builds collection page. Each listing shows exactly what has been built and is ready to purchase directly. If you are interested in a fully bespoke commission. A helmet built specifically to your vision, fill out the custom order form on our Custom Builds page and we will get back to you within 48 hours to discuss the details.
Can I request a specific team or colorway for a custom build?

Yes. We take custom commission requests on a limited basis. Contact us at customs@fadedicons.com with your idea and we will let you know if it is something we can build.

No. All custom builds and one of one pieces are final sale. Each piece is unique and built to order so we are unable to accept returns on custom work.
