West Virginia Mountaineers Coal Rush Speed Mini
Morgantown sits in coal country, and this helmet knows exactly where it comes from. The Coal Rush mini Speed is one of the more geographically specific alternate designs in the Big 12, a matte black shell named for the industry that built the state, wearing the outline of West Virginia itself in white with the flying WV mark nested inside it. The state outline as logo is a design choice that only works when the program's identity is genuinely tied to place, and in West Virginia's case that connection runs as deep as the mines that gave this helmet its name. The blacked-out face mask completes a presentation that is as dark and as grounded as the hills it represents.
