Officially licensed Riddell collectible.

The black shell at full size is where the alternate colorway makes its loudest statement. The Riddell Replica Speed Black brings Utah Utes football to display scale in an all-black shell with the block U decal in crimson and white that hits with a visual force at full size that the mini format can suggest but never fully deliver. At full size the crimson detail cutting through the black shell has a depth and contrast that commands a shelf from across the room, the block U reading with an aggression and precision that the primary crimson shell approaches from a completely different direction and the white alternate never attempts at all.

Black shell full size replicas occupy the most visually dramatic lane in any college collection and the Utah entry makes a stronger argument for that category than most programs in the Big 12. The block U in crimson against a full size black shell is a completely different proposition than the same graphic on the primary crimson lid, darker, more forceful, and with a shelf presence that justifies the step up from the black mini immediately and completely. For Utes collectors who have the crimson and white replicas the black full size closes out the primary display story at every major colorway Utah has put on the field.

Three helmets, three distinct visual identities, one of the more complete single program displays available in the Big 12 collector market. The crimson establishes the program, the white refines it, and the black redefines it entirely at full replica scale.
