Lubbock does things its own way, and this Galvaniced mini Speed is a prime example of that independence. The white shell carries the double T mark with a finish treatment that sets it apart from every standard white alternate in the Big 12: the logo interior rendered in a brushed metallic grey that gives the mark a galvanized steel quality, the red outline doing the work of connecting it back to the Red Raiders identity while the metallic fill pulls the treatment into something more industrial and unexpected. A red crown stripe runs along the top of the shell and a red face mask completes the color story, keeping the presentation unmistakably Texas Tech while the logo finish does something genuinely different.
