Officially licensed Riddell collectible.
West Lafayette does not always get the recognition it deserves in the Big Ten conversation, but this helmet makes a case that the program has always known exactly who it is. The matte black shell with the gold Purdue script and its signature swoosh underline is one of the cleaner alternate presentations in the conference, the cursive lettering outlined in gold sitting against the flat black surface with a warmth that only deepens when paired with the aged gold face mask. That face mask is the detail that separates this helmet from everything else on a shelf: not bright gold, not chrome, but a brushed antique gold finish that reads as deliberate and sophisticated rather than flashy.
