Officially licensed Riddell collectible.

The blackout on Riddell's most advanced architecture. The Ohio State Buckeyes Black Alternate Authentic SpeedFlex puts the most aggressive configuration in the Buckeyes lineup on the SpeedFlex shell at full game spec construction, the sculpted surface, the flex panel, the modern geometry that defines the current generation of college football helmet technology, all finished in the deep matte black shell and classic scarlet and white center stripe that make the Ohio State black alternate one of the most visually commanding non-standard identities in college football. Matte black face mask, matte black shell throughout, and the stripe rendered at full authentic SpeedFlex scale where every detail of that stark alternate configuration is executed at the highest standard the Riddell collectible line produces.

At the authentic SpeedFlex tier the black alternate arrives at its absolute ceiling. The matte black finish moves across the contoured SpeedFlex surface with a depth and intentionality that no other shell in the lineup can deliver at this construction standard, and the scarlet and white stripe sits flush against that sculpted dark surface with a precision and contrast that communicates game spec quality from across the room. The SpeedFlex architecture gives the blackout configuration a dimensional complexity that the Speed shell cannot approach, making this the most visually sophisticated version of the Ohio State black alternate that the Riddell collectible line produces. For the Buckeyes collector who demands the best version of every configuration in the case, this is the piece that closes out the black alternate story at the top of the entire lineup.
