The real one. The Ohio State Buckeyes Authentic Speed puts one of college football's most decorated and instantly recognizable identities on Riddell's full game spec construction. The same shell, the same materials, and the same finish standard that separates the authentic tier from everything below it. Bold scarlet shell, classic Ohio State Buckeyes decals in scarlet and gray, Buckeye leaf stickers applied with the precision the tradition demands, and a face mask mounted with the hardware and tolerances of a helmet built for the field, not the display case. Officially licensed and built to the standard that defines the top of the Riddell collectible line.

At the authentic tier the Ohio State identity reveals itself fully. The scarlet finish carries a brightness and intensity that replica construction cannot replicate. The gray graphics and Buckeye leaf details sit flush against a surface engineered to game standards with a precision and clarity that communicates authentic materials from the moment the helmet is in hand. The overall weight and presence of the helmet reflects a construction standard worthy of eight national championships, more first round draft picks than any program in the country can claim across the modern era, and a scarlet and gray color story that has represented Columbus through some of the most dominant seasons college football has ever produced. For the Ohio State collector who has worked up through the mini and replica tiers, the Authentic Speed is where the collection arrives.
