Cedar Falls does not get the national attention it deserves, but anyone who follows FCS football knows what Northern Iowa represents in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Panthers have been one of the most consistently competitive programs at their level for decades, and this mini Speed helmet wears that identity with the layered logo treatment that makes the UNI mark one of the more visually interesting in the conference: the bold UNI block letters in white with gold outline dominating the upper panel, the gold and purple panther head emerging from behind the letterforms with just enough snarl to remind you what program this is. The blacked-out face mask keeps the purple shell clean and lets the gold carry the accent work throughout.
