Las Cruces has one of the most distinctive mascots in college football, and Pistol Pete owns this helmet from the moment your eyes land on the panel. The metallic silver shell gives the full-figure Pete graphic exactly the neutral backdrop it needs, the mustachioed gunslinger in his crimson vest leveling his pistol with the kind of swagger that has represented the Aggies for generations. The Aggies wordmark and New Mexico State identifier sit beneath the figure in bold block lettering, anchoring the graphic as a complete logo treatment rather than just an image. A crimson face mask pulls the mascot's vest color forward onto the hardware, tying the whole presentation together in the clean silver and crimson combination the program has worn in Aggie Memorial Stadium for over a century.

At mini scale Pistol Pete is one of the more charming and detailed mascot graphics in the college football collectible space, the full-figure illustration holding its character without losing any of the personality that makes the mark iconic. It sits in its own category on any shelf simply by virtue of being one of the few helmets in the game built around a character rather than a letter or a logo mark.
