The real one. The Michigan Wolverines Authentic Speed puts the most iconic design in college football on Riddell's full game spec construction. The same shell, the same materials, and the same finish standard that separates the authentic tier from everything below it. Classic maize and blue shell, the bold winged helmet stripe mounted with the precision and character it has carried at Ann Arbor for over a century, and a face mask built with the hardware and tolerances of a helmet made for the field, not the display case. Officially licensed and built to the standard that defines the top of the Riddell collectible line.

At the authentic tier the Michigan identity reveals itself fully. The maize stripe carries a depth and richness that replica construction cannot replicate. The blue shell finish reflects authentic materials with a quality that communicates game spec standard from the moment it is in hand. The overall weight and presence of the helmet reflects a construction standard worthy of the most storied program in college football history and the most recognizable helmet design the sport has ever produced. For the Michigan collector who has worked up through the mini and replica tiers, the Authentic Speed is where the collection arrives.

Game spec. Maize and blue. The standard.
