Officially licensed Riddell collectible.

The Spartans in matte at the highest standard. The Michigan State Spartans Matte Authentic Speed puts the classic East Lansing identity on Riddell's full game spec construction with a deep matte green finish that sets this helmet apart from every other piece in the Michigan State authentic lineup. The same shell, the same materials, and the same hardware tolerances as any helmet built for the field, carrying the bold Spartan helmet decals against a flat green surface that absorbs light, deepens the color, and gives the entire presentation a weight and seriousness that the gloss configuration approaches but cannot fully match.

At the authentic tier the matte finish reveals itself fully. The green is richer and more dimensional against the flat surface than any gloss shell can deliver. The Spartan logo sits flush against authentic materials with a contrast and precision that communicates game spec quality from the moment the helmet is in hand. The overall presence of one of the Big Ten's most storied programs at authentic construction, finished in the matte configuration that serious collectors seek out specifically, is exactly what this tier of the Michigan State lineup deserves.
