When the Los Angeles Chargers unveiled their 2020 rebrand, they leaned fully into the franchise's California identity and AFL roots, restoring powder blue as the primary color and reworking the helmet to match. The white shell with a gold facemask had been part of the franchise's look since the Color Rush era in 2016, but the 2020 redesign sharpened and streamlined the bolt, eliminating navy blue from the logo's outline entirely and replacing it with a cleaner powder blue trim that ties the helmet directly to the jersey palette. The result is one of the most visually cohesive uniforms in the NFL, a look that channels the sunshine and energy of Southern California while honoring a franchise that has worn some of the most celebrated uniforms in football history.
