Kansas State Wildcats Dublin Speed Mini
In August 2022, Kansas State traveled to Dublin, Ireland to open the season against Missouri at Aviva Stadium, and this mini Speed helmet is the artifact from that moment. The base is the familiar metallic silver shell with the tonal Powercat, but the crown stripe transforms it into something entirely specific to that occasion: a repeating Celtic knotwork band wrapping the helmet in dark purple, one of the more thoughtful design decisions in recent college football alternate history. The rear of the shell carries the American and Irish flags flanking a shamrock, a small detail that anchors the helmet to its exact geographic and cultural context.
