The most significant Iowa alternate design available, now at the highest tier of construction Riddell offers. This Speed Authentic delivers the flag rendered Tigerhawk, ANF crown badge, and gold stripe on a deep gloss black shell with genuine game grade hardware, Riddell branded chin strap, and the full facemask assembly built to collegiate specifications. The Riddell oval badge on the side confirms the authentic grade build, and the deep gloss finish gives the red, white, and blue Tigerhawk a depth and richness that the replica simply cannot replicate.

For Iowa collectors, this is the definitive version of a helmet that carries genuine cultural weight beyond the football field. The ANF movement has been part of Hawkeye identity since the mid 1980s, and owning the authentic grade version of the helmet that carries that message is a different kind of collector piece than most alternates in the Big Ten catalog can claim to be.
