Details
Officially licensed Riddell collectible.
The darkest version of the throwback trio. This matte black mini carries the Cyclones script wordmark in white on a flat black shell, with the Vintage Iowa State 1987 badge and an all black facemask that makes the white lettering the sole focal point. The matte finish gives this version a more modern, aggressive feel compared to the gloss white and cardinal red throwback versions, while the vintage badge keeps it anchored in the same historical identity.
Built on the Riddell Speed shell at mini scale, this piece completes the Iowa State 1987 throwback collection alongside the red and white versions, giving collectors all three colorways of one of the more distinctive script designs in the Big 12 catalog. Equally strong as a standalone for anyone who wants the throwback look on the darkest possible canvas.
