Battle red at full authenticity is where the most aggressive colorway in the Texans catalog reaches its highest expression. The Riddell Authentic Speed brings Houston's on-field alternate identity to full NFL spec construction, an all battle red shell with the bull logo in deep steel blue and white built to the same standards as the helmets worn on the Houston sideline when the Texans take the field in their alternate uniform. At authentic level the battle red shell finish has a depth and saturation that the replica lineup points toward but cannot deliver, and the bull logo at authentic spec reads with a precision and sharpness against the red finish that makes this the definitive version of the most visually kinetic helmet in the Houston catalog.

The battle red alternate at authentic spec occupies a specific and serious lane in the NFL collector market. Where the primary deep steel blue authentic leads with authority and depth, the battle red authentic leads with energy and aggression, and at full game level construction quality both carry equal weight on a shelf or in a case while telling completely different stories about what this franchise is capable of putting on the field. For Texans collectors who have the primary authentic the battle red alternate is the companion piece that completes the Houston display at the highest level available and changes everything the collection communicates to anyone who sees it.

The weight, the padding, the shell finish, the hardware, all of it present at game level quality beneath the most visually forceful colorway the Houston Texans wear on the field. For serious collectors this is the alternate that finishes the Texans collection at full authenticity without compromise or substitution.
