Battle red at full authenticity is the definitive version of the most visually aggressive colorway Houston puts on the field. The Riddell Authentic Speed brings the Texans' 2024 on-field alternate to full NFL spec construction, the all battle red shell with the bull logo in deep steel blue and white built to the same standards as the helmets that came off the Houston sideline during the 2024 season. At authentic level the battle red shell finish has a depth and precision that the replica lineup approximates but cannot match, and the bull logo detail against it at authentic spec lands with a sharpness and clarity that makes this the definitive version of the most kinetic colorway in the Texans catalog at the highest level of fidelity the market offers.

Authentic alternates tied to specific seasons from franchises on the rise occupy a specific and serious lane in the NFL collector market. The 2024 Texans were one of the more closely watched teams in the AFC and the battle red alternate was the colorway on the field during some of the most compelling games in recent Houston franchise history. At authentic spec that season specificity combines with full game level construction quality to create a piece whose production ceiling is fixed at a single year and a single run that does not get revisited once Riddell closes it out.

For Texans collectors at the serious end of the market this is the version of the 2024 alternate that closes the conversation. The replica covers the colorway. The authentic covers the moment at the level it actually deserves. For anyone who watched Houston in battle red during the 2024 season, this is the helmet that marks it permanently.
