The highest level of fidelity Houston Texans football comes in. The Riddell Authentic Speed brings the Texans to full NFL spec construction in the Speed shell, a deep steel blue shell with the bull logo decal in battle red, white, and blue built to the same standards as the helmets worn by players on the field at NRG Stadium. At authentic level the deep steel blue shell finish has a depth and precision that the replica lineup approximates but cannot match, and the bull logo at authentic spec is as clean and sharp as this franchise identity has ever looked on a helmet at any size or price point.

Authentics at the NFL level carry a weight that nothing below them in the Riddell lineup can replicate and on a Texans helmet that weight is compounded by the momentum of a franchise that has transformed into one of the most compelling young rosters in the AFC. The combination of full authentic construction and one of the more visually aggressive franchise identities in the modern NFL creates a piece that holds its own against anything else in a serious collection regardless of conference or division.

The weight, the padding, the shell finish, the hardware, all of it present and correct at game level quality in the deep steel blue and battle red that has defined this franchise from its founding through one of the most promising stretches in Texans history. For serious collectors this is where the Houston collection ends. For anyone who has watched this franchise grow into a legitimate AFC contender, this is the only version of this helmet worth owning at the highest level the market offers.
