Officially licensed Riddell collectible.
The most advanced helmet in the Riddell lineup in the most striking colorway Detroit has ever put on the field. The Authentic SpeedFlex brings the Lions' 2024 on-field alternate to full NFL spec construction, an all-black shell with the leaping lion decal in blue and silver paired with the signature SpeedFlex flex panel that sets this silhouette apart from everything else at the authentic level. At authentic spec the black shell finish has a precision and depth that no replica format can replicate, and the flex panel detail against the dark shell gives this piece a visual profile unlike anything else in the Lions catalog.
Authentic SpeedFlex alternates sit at the absolute top of the collector market. The combination of the most technically sophisticated Riddell construction, an era specific alternate colorway, and a single season production run creates a piece with a ceiling that nothing else in the lineup approaches. The 2024 season was one of the most watched chapters in recent Lions history and this helmet captures it at the highest level of fidelity available anywhere.
For collectors who have already committed to the SpeedFlex authentic in the standard colorway, the 2024 alternate is the piece that completes the set. For anyone coming to the Lions catalog at the top end for the first time, this is the version that makes everything else look like a starting point.
