Details
Officially licensed Riddell collectible.
When the Denver Broncos unveiled a complete identity overhaul in 1997, the navy shell and modernized horse-head logo replaced three decades of the Orange Crush era almost overnight. The new look debuted under head coach Mike Shanahan and immediately proved itself, with the franchise winning back-to-back Super Bowls in the first two seasons wearing the redesign, with John Elway closing out his Hall of Fame career under the new helmet before retiring in 1999. The windswept horse-head logo, white with an orange mane and a fiery eye, was designed to communicate pure power and has remained the franchise's primary mark ever since, carrying the team through Peyton Manning's record-breaking seasons and a third championship in Super Bowl 50.
