Cleveland Browns Speed Mini 1962 - 1974
The Cleveland Browns have never worn a logo on their helmet, and that empty space is exactly what makes their look one of the most recognizable in football history. Beginning in 1961, the team settled on the solid orange shell paired with two brown stripes flanking a center white stripe, a design that would carry the Browns through more than a decade of football with only the facemask color changing along the way, from gray to later iterations. This is the helmet worn during the Blanton Collier era and through the franchise's run in the 1960s and early 1970s, a stretch defined by the same clean, unembellished orange the Browns have built their entire identity around.
